Latvian duo Kristīne Balanas (violin) and Andrejs Osokins (piano) have been working together since 2009, when they met at the Royal Academy of Music, London. Sharing a distinct musical connection owing to common artistic values, the duo have since performed throughout the United Kingdom and Latvia. Both performers have a particular interest for works by Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann, and Prokofiev; as well as a strong passion for the promotion of rarely performed works by Latvian composers.
